Major plans in process

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Thought I would cover it all in one post since I don't have much time these days.


So we had a good 1st christmas as a married couple, the time off went by way too quick. It was nice to see Sam as much as I did, I don't get to see her as much as I would like to. But I guess we all have to start at the bottom and work our way up! LOL

So these last few month have been busy for us, with family members going in and out of the hospital and me training and getting ready for chirstmas. But it was worth it, I am happy that I could help my family the way I have the last few weeks. On Dec 26 my inlaws furnace went, so I spent the day fixing it, had the whole bottom of it taken apart, but at least to works now, that is what matters!

So for the big News, The Veltmans may be moving in the next couple of months, we are really looking at some new places to move into. We are starting to bust at the seams here, quickly running out of room, and the number one reason why we are wanting to move... the price of our heating bill has gone out of this world!!! I pay more a month for gas in a 2 bedroom apartment, than most of my family members pay for a full house!!!!! So with our heat turned real low, we are struggling to make in through our harsh canadian winter this year!

WE are looking at a place tomorrow which we both fell in love with, and is in a much better end of town and still really close to work. So if we like it, we are putting a down payment on it, and than comes the fun part of moving!!!

So if all goes well we get the place Feb 1st and might move it Feb 17th and give up our current place March 1st!! This way it gives us time to clean and move and all that fun stuff.

I am going to miss our place, it's done us good, plus it's our first home together, But it's time to move on to something that is better for us and will cost less to run. The way the price of gas keeps going up, it's something that has been on my mind the last couple of months, and this last whopper of a gas bill which my jaw hit the floor with was the factor that made this all start!!

I will try to update you all as soon as I can! I can hardle wait, I just want to know what we will be doing, cuz I hate packing, I am going to need all the time to do it, cuz I might wait till the last min to do it all!
